According to The Hollywood Reporter, three new theatrical features all out on the same day couldn't bump Warner Home Video's Batman Begins from the top of the preliminary national DVD sales chart for the week ending Oct. 30.
Buena Vista's Herbie: Fully Loaded, Warner's House of Wax and Sony Pictures' Bewitched finished second, third and fourth respectively on VideoScan's First Alert Chart, leaving Batman Begins perched at the very top. Herbie did make a strong play, however, selling about 95% as many units as Batman Begins. |
