Look, i not a loyal Dragonball Z fan, but i think the movie is going to be ok. It wont be an Oscar winner perfect picture but the director and producer for the film have done some spectacular and terrific action sequences(Kung Fu Hustle). When the trailer finally comes out then everyone can start cussing.

Ive been a dragonball and dragonball z fan my whole life. i agree with most of you about this movie possibly sucking but as a loayal fan i gotta see it no matter how much it might suck. I do think they should have added krillin because he was a big part of dragonball also i heard no rumors of nimbus goku's cloud. I think if they gonna do this move they should do it right with at least adding the small important stuff. And 2 very huge things the kamehameha and the special beam cannon i think those are a must. also i hope the clothes resemble some what to the anime

Okay wait wait, back up yeap 3 comments below this one for anyone that follows these.
First of All yes DB is an Anime, very good but honestly come on now, how many Anime Characters look Japanese??? ... ... Ah good answer unless is was something directed by Hayao Miazaki or Satoshi Kon then you know that all of those Anime Characters look White. So doesn't it make sense to make a Movie with white looking characters with White People @_@? (I say whites becuase not all Americans are white.) All Americans are tan (i.e. American Indians) everything else would be Immigrants lol, but thats a different subject.
You know its okay to state your opinion but just realize that these people became actors cause they could act. Think about Christopher Reeves, everyone said he would never fit into Superman's boots and now look, or Even Christine Bale, people said he would lose his career because he was trying to revive a dead franchise, and now he's the biggest blockbuster of 2008. So who knows.
Making Dragonball as a Cartoon? then what would be the point of making it as a movie? hmm good point, people want to see special effects people want to see real acting its the best thing about adaptions. Oh wait thats right that's what this is an Anime Adaption, hmm so we should plan on it being a little different huh? i mean DB was made back in the 1984, alot of things have changed since then. A fan i bet you don't know what Goku's first american name was,...i'll give you a hint it started with Z and ended with, ero. Doh!
Also, as long as they get Vegeta right rock on!!!

Look I'm a big Dragonball Fan, but also must admit i have my doubts the more i kinda read into different parts in the movie the more i feel like crying, lol screaming your ruining it please just stop... LOL. But good news James Marsters a fan is on our side and said he's gonna rock this one big so who knows maybe it could turn out fantastic and maybe it could turn out to be shit. so i'm gonna try keep my opinions to myself and see what happens. Yes, a live action movie can't wait. Just remember all you "hardcore" anime fans it's a live action movie from hollywood so don't get your hopes up with this movie. Just see it for the action and you'll be fine. I learned that from watching superman returns, man did that movie sucked >:D.
