Both The Hollywood Reporter and Variety report that Zack Snyder's epic 300, an adaptation of the Frank Miller comic book about the battle of Thermopylae between 300 Spartans and a Persian army numbering in the millions, will have its world premiere at the Berlin Film Festival on February 8.
Although the high-profile American film will premiere in Berlin, the film itself will not be participating in the film festival competition!
300 arrives in theatres in the U.S. on March 9, 2007.
