Amanda Peet Gets Wrapped Up in the X-Files 2

Amanda Peet has joined the cast of The X-Files 2. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Rapper Xzibit and comedian Billy Connolly have also joined this high anticipated follow-up to the original 1998 film.

Chris Carter is directing this adaptation of his TV show. Xzibit and Peet are set to play FBI agents. This will be a stand-alone story that has no ties to any particular episode. The plot of the film is being kept from the public at this point, and there are no further details on the characters these three actors will play.

Filming is set to begin this month in Vancouver.
