There's a new mobile-phone game coming soon, based on Paramount's Iron Man. The game, being developed by Hands On Mobile was previewed by Pocket Gamer at the recent Game Developers conference.
As a mobile game, Iron Man is a top-down shooting which guides you vertically as you blast turrets and mechanical foes. As you progress through the game, you are able to access more and more of the weaponry Tony Stark has built into the suit.
Each level of the game delivers a "boss battle", where you fight a more difficult and resilient foe. Since Hands On Mobile promised easter eggs and ties to the film, it is likely that these foes will include classic Iron Man villains from the comics, as well as from the film.
Iron Man, starring Robert Downey Jr., Terrence Howard, Jeff Bridges and Gwyneth Paltrow flies into theatres on May 2, 2008.
