Ray Stevenson Is The Punisher

Our friends over at Latino Review have just dug this scoop out of their magic cat litter box. According to El Mayimbe, Rome star Ray Stevenson is going to be replacing Thomas Jane in the upcoming sequel to The Punisher.

Stevenson will be the third actor to step into the steel-toed army boots of the illustrious Marvel Comics hero known as The Punisher. Dolph Lundgren was the first to don the skull shirt in 1989. Jane followed suite in 2004.

Lexi Alexander will be directing The Punisher 2. Latino Review is also reporting that the villain this time around is going to be Jigsaw. No word on whether Tobin Bell will be playing the part.
