It seems like every superhero film is getting into the Viral marketing world, and now Hellboy II: The Golden Army has made it's first steps into that realm with www.hetfet.org.
The site originally had the following poem posted:
An Abomination hath been done,
The wheels of motion turned and spun,
A quarter moon past,
Time runneth fast,
Our countdown already begun.
And now, that poem has been replaced with:
Rise up prepare to act,
The future is bleak in fact,
Unite as one,
Oh earthly son,
Protect the ancient pact.
What either poem means, of course, is up for speculation. But they both sound like they mean something.
Hellboy II: The Golden Army stars Ron Perlman (Hellboy), Selma Blair (Liz Sherman), and Doug Jones (Abe Sapien). The sequel film directed by Guillermo del Toro comes to theatres July 11, 2008.
