 William Shatner has confirmed that Leonard Nimoy is in the new Star Trek script, which J.J. Abrams is directing.
In a video at Shatnervision, Captain Kirk himself talks about finding out that Nemoy's Spock is in the new film, even though Shatner's character is not.
Shatner said he reached through the phone and choked Nimoy when he heard the news. When Bill was asked why his friend would consider doing the movie if both characters weren't in it, Shatner replied, "Because we're not that good of friends."
