Our friend Robert over at IESB just keeps getting those juicy G.I. Joe scoops. Today, he informed us that Czech Supermodel Karolina Isela Kurkova has been cast as every fanboy's favorite comic book crush Cover Girl.
Cover Girl is a successful fashion model from Peoria, Illinois that joined the G.I. Joe ranks for a refreshing change of pace. The character was featured prominently in the 80s cartoon and comic book series.
G.I. Joe will also star Dennis Quaid, Channing Tatum, Sienna Miller, Ray Park, and Marlon Wayans. The film opens August 7th, 2009.
