Marlene Forte Joins Star Trek

Marlene Forte has joined J.J. Abrams' highly anticipated Star Trek film. According to Variety, she will be playing the chief transporter of the USS Enterprise.

The film is nearing its final few weeks of production. Star Trek also stars Chris Pine, Anton Yelchin, John Cho, and Simon Pegg. Plot details are being kept tightly under wraps for the time being.

Star Trek will hit theaters on Christmas Day, December 25th, 2008.
