Gary Dauberman Finds Deadman

Gary Dauberman has been hired to write the adaptation of DC Comics' Deadman for Warner Bros. Pictures and Don Murphy's Angry Films.

Guillermo del Toro is also producing and possibly directing the film; the character is the ghost of a murdered circus acrobat who has the power to possess the living in order to seek out his killer, as well as to help the innocent, notes Variety.

Deadman currently has no production schedule set for a theater release in 2008.
