Transformers 2 Signs a Production Designer

The writer's strike isn't preventing DreamWorks from rolling ahead with Transformers 2. According to his resume on United Talent Agency's website, Nigel Phelps is signed as Production Designer for Transformers 2.

This won't be the first time Phelps has worked with Director Michael Bay. They previously collaborated on The Island and Pearl Harbor.

Phelps is currently at work on The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor for Universal Pictures.

DreamWorks is aiming for a 2009 release for Transformers 2.
