Twentieth Century Fox has released the first two Hitman Origins Episodes, according to IESB.net. Hitman Origins is being released as a series of animated mini-episodes, done comic-book style, which tell the story of how Agent 47 became the deadly assassin he is.
Hitman is a video game franchise available for PC as well as several popular video game consoles. The games revolve around Agent 47 (usually simply referred to as "47" or "Mr. 47"), an assassin-for-hire, whose flawless record places him in high demand amongst the wealthy and elite. Hitman is referred to as 47 due to those being the last two digits of the barcode tattooed on his neck. There have been four Hitman video games released to date.
Hitman is coming to the screen in an adaptation of the video game series. The film is being directed by Xavier Gens and stars Timothy Olyphant (Live Free or Die Hard) as Agent 47.
