The Groonies: According to a reader over at Ain't It Cool who recenlty caught "Star TV" in Alberta Canada, Paul Walker, star of Richard Donner's Timeline, recently talked to the director about the various details of the Goonies sequel:
I was watching Star TV. It's the canadian equivelant of E! Paul Walker was being interviewed for his new movie Timeline. He said he wanted to work with Richard Donner again on Goonies. RIchard had asked Paul what he thought about doing it, and he said he'd love to. Then Paul said Donner asked him his opinion and he said he HAS to bring everyone back, including Sloth. It wasn't a movie without Sloth so it was important all the original cast was involved. Walker made it clear that Donner was asking his opinion and nothing more. As far as him working with Donner on the movie, all he said was "Richard asked me to be in the movie". It's not a lot of news but it seems important since there isn't a lot of GROONIE news out there. |
