Hellboy May Be Appearing in Animated Web Shorts

Not content to make a splash on the big screen with this summers HBII, the superhero from Hell may be returning to animated projects, but this time on the web. Hellboy Animated revealed that while a third Hellboy animated film isn't currently happening, there is talk of doing animated web shorts.

The webmaster wrote:

Just a quick note. No work is being done on the third Hellboy Animated film, although there is some talk of doing very short projects for the internet. With Guillermo del Toro's Hellboy II: The Golden Army getting rave reviews from Universal execs, we should hope for a big launch for the movie. If enough excitement builds, who knows what will happen on the animated front?

The previous two Hellboy animated projects were Hellboy: Blood and Iron and Hellboy: Sword of Storms.
