It's the highest grossing superhero film ever, and received more critical acclaim than any other superhero film for director Christopher Nolan, as well as stars Christian Bale and Heath Ledger, but that's not enough for The Dark Knight. Warner Bros has actually launched an entire website devoted to campaigning for Oscars, with The Dark Knight most prominently featured, and looking for awards in categories ranging from Best Picture to Best Actor (Christian Bale) to Best Supporting Actor (Heath Ledger, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Aaron Eckhart) to Best Make-up.
