Peter Facinelli, Elizabeth Reaser and Nikki Reed Prepare for the Twilight

Nikki Reed has just signed on to join Peter Facinelli and Elizabeth Reaser in the vampire franchise from Summit Entertainment Twilight. According to Variety, Catherine Hardwicke is directing the screenplay by Melissa Rosenberg.

Twilight tells the story of 17-year-old Bella, who moves to a small town to live with her father, and is drawn to a pale mysterious classmate who comes from a family of vampires. Twilight is an adaptation of the popular fantasy series by Stephanie Meyer's.

Summit Entertainment has scheduled to release Twilight on December 12th.
