"A great movie, you'll watch it and be happy."
Pineapple express is a comedy action movie that will take you on to the Bang Bang Streets. I watched it with my freind in the theater and It was incredible, I loved lots of parts in the movie, and the acting could have never been better. it shows in lots of parts of it the way men take life in USA. A vision that is true in some kind. it is a regular gangster movie, just like any other movie. the story was pretty bad, I didn't really like it and thought they could have made better. But for many other reasons, I loved it.
The story starts with a regular American man, Dale Denton(Seth Rogen how had amazed us in other movies like knocked up-2007 and superbad-2007) and his love for Drug. as all people that like drugs, he has to take the drugs from the drug dealer , which is in our story here saul silver (James Franco, From the incredible franchise of spider-man where he plays the new goblin.) After he takes a new drug which is the only of it's kind in the full city, Pineapple express which is where the name of the movie comes from, Dale witness the murder of a man by another big and important drug dealer and a police officer. Not knowing what to do, Dale gets the attention of the criminals. that is when the actual story starts, after he leads them to Saul silver, after they track him. Afraid of what could happen the action starts with the crazy couple of men trying to get away with the whole situation. But will They?
As you see the story was pretty nice but I think it was a typical Hollywood story that will ends in a untypical way. The script was well written though. the whole story made itself a little stupid, but those little moments in between made the story irresistible.
Anyways trying to get out of the story for a little, The acting was pretty nice. But lots of especially that every actor made the character better looking because he is acting it. for example, I see nobody else to be in the place of seth but James Franco. he made the charachter more connecting to the audience. I can never forget him in this character. I remember him in this character more than spiderman, even though the whole trilogy was incredible, but I see James in this character more than the other. another example of good actor choice, is Seth. he was incredible in his character. he was kind of the half-half man for me. He was like the person that dosen't take it easily and makes a bigger thing of the problem. and because He is fat and big and has this thing in his voice, He was totally Perfect for this movie and more for this charachter. So For the acting it was pretty good.
Not that much of an important thing to talk about, but I think i should say something about the visuals. Not that much of a visual kind of movie. It is more the kind of movies that You can watch at any time and be happy. But to talk a little about it, These small visual moments were not that bad, But it is not about the visuals, It's about the whole thing together.
I was Crystal clear telling to every how is reading throw the whole review that it was a great movie, But I can tell you, If you are the kind of people how liked Big compicated movies with a story that never ends, and doesn't Like to just relaxe and watch the movie for the hell of it, and if you are so much interested in the big story and these big stuff and don't like to just watch the movie and laugh on the small highly funny stuff, than you wont enjoy it.
Another last thing I would like to talk about in the movie. the Only reason I actually have this movie as a big memorial thing of this year is because of the song. I loved M.I.A with paper plane and I think it was incredibly cool with the movie and did match with the movie and gave the movie a big push, without forgetting that the movie gave the song a big push too. by the way, I was listening to the song the whole time after i watched the movie, so as now while I am writing the review.
Written by lifelong pals Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg, It was a movie to remember, Sony did a great Job through the whole thing. I definitely Loved it. I never saw James Franco in any kind of another movie before this one, But now he proved himself to me that he can act well in many other kind of movies. a great push to lots of People in my mind and a great movie to watch and enjoy. that is my last words about the movie Hoping for more form Sony pictures, Colombia pictures, James Franco, Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg.
