Johnny depp was so the right choice for the character of willy wonka...he was funny,yet creepy and you sort of wanted to get close to the character yet would still be on guard.you could imagine willy wonka to be a rich,encentric.true to life how your up-bringing moulds you and makes you the person you are in your adulthood.

screwed up and child-leering willy wonka may have had innocent motives for his actions earlier on but he is ''creepy'' and he is a character of true unpredictable behaviour.
