"I grew up with Max!!"
Having been a fan of the original (whoops, my age is showing) I found this to be quite funny. I love that Steve put his own spin on Max and played that roll with a lot of self humor. Anne Hathaway, although good looking and talented in her own right, can't even begin to touch Barbara Feldon's agent 99. She was a woman ahead of her time. I wanted to BE here when I grew up!! Here, Anne seemed to me to be more of a side kick more then Max's right arm gal. I don't see my Agent
99 carrying Max's luggage through the jungle. The story was funny and the effects and references to the orginal were good. It was a fun, feel good way to spend a Saturday afternoon. A good popcorn movie to be sure.
