"NOT ZOMBIES.....!"
These are not Zombies. They are people with the unfortunate disability of being infected by the rage virus. Here in Canada, we would place these people in a home for the disabled and feed them better food then I eat and give them cable T.V. which I don't have. I'm a little jealous really.
This was definitely a cool movie though. Very dark. And I liked the use of the colour red. And yes , I am a Canadian so this is the correct spelling of the word, color. Anyways, the use of red in this film seemed to intensify a lot scenes brilliantly.
You can almost imagine waking up in a deserted hospital thinking, "What the fuck?". After wandering around aimlessly for a while I probably would have started collecting found money and looting stuff too. I, on the other hand would have found a BMW or some other high end vehicle to drive around in while I did this looting.
His first encounter with the Rage people was awesome.... especially after he apologized to the priest for smashing him in the head with a fire extinguisher. And the black chick. Boy is that ever hot!! I love to see women taking charge and empowering them selves.
Now, once they made it to where the army guys are hanging out, this movie kinda takes a turn for the worse. It reminds me of the George A. Romero style thing where the other supposedly normal people offer you fears worse then the zombies, or the enraged in this case. Not that it ruined the film for me, but they could have taken it in a different direction, plus I hate to see rape scenes in any movie.
Well, it is now time for my rap up. I loved this film. The extra footage and alternate endings were nice......there should be no such thing as a happy ending when it comes to Zombie films.....Peace.
