"Dread Excellence "
This movie was great because it met my standard of what a horror movie should be; any movie that can scare me, today, immediately gets my approval. Some people may not feel the same way or feel that the movie was scary, personally the movie probably scared me, due to me disliking dolls and clowns, which at the near end when she stuck her hands out and grabbed the clown doll, or the part where the screen flashed and she wasn't on the ground but standing up, I damn near had a heart attack. I also let myself become engulfed in the movie and its atmosphere, which I like to call "The Pull-In Ratio" (copywritten by the way). Plus the movie had a great kind of unpredictable plot point or twist. I did kind of think the mother-in-law had something to do with dolls like she was a descendant or was possessed buy the ghost of the lady, (spoiler) but not that she was the lady. Which is another one of criterion for a great movie, never be predictible, buy it on Blu-Ray unrated with the lights out with 5.1 surround sound by yourself, and try not to get scared (not the way I watched it but got the effect), 5 out 5 (10/10).
