"A lovely ending to an era. "
Keep in mind that as a huge x-files fan, I am slightly biased. Awaiting this movie brought the huge nerd back in me. From that true fan stand point, I think the movie was true to the original series, with the feeling of a good episode. Though it didn't turn out to be quite as good as I hoped, It still filled the void that the somewhat unfinished ending of the series left behind. The actors still had great chemistry, as the two legendary characters, and it was great to see the couple in action again. Honestly, it comes down to the fact that the overall story could have been better, I think that Cater may have started to loose his edge. Never the less, I loved watching it, and I loved having a real ending to the story.
