"What a great movie for young and old alike!"
I absolutely love this movie! It has been awhile that Disney has put out a movie with the animation and live action and most importantly, in my opinion, the songs. I loved the songs and musical numbers in this movie. It has been a looong time since I have seen that. I loved how they took a little bit from past Disney movies and also a little bit of an original story and bam! you have Enchanted. I liked seeing the references from past Disney movies. I loved Amy Adams in it...I had seen her in a couple of other movies but did not know a whole lot about her. I have grown up loving Julie Andrews and always wanted to meet her and loved the characters she played and I feel Amy Adams is the next Julie Andrews. From what I have seen in the movie and interviews, Amy is very graceful and very down-to-earth and a definite wonderful role model for young girls which is what this world needs. I also loved the chemistry Patrick Dempsey and Amy Adams had on-screen. Nice to see that in a movie...a romantic, fairy-tale coming from a very real place. It warms my heart to know that Disney still has its magic and I do hope they will continue to put out more great movies that so many of us have grown up with for a whole new generation. I liked that this movie mixed the old with the new. Perhap there will be an Enchanted 2? :)
