"It wasn't as good as I thought it'd be...."
I was fully disapointed by Baby Mama. Dude, it's just not that good and you'd think that it would be. Tina Fey is the shiz. I mean that. I've been down with her since like forever. I dig the glasses. She's a former GOTW. If you recall. You might not. It's not that important. It totally is though.
So the deal is that Tina can't get preg so she hires Amy Poehler to carry her eggs and stuff. Amy is funny in other stuff and she kind of is here too but not as much as I would have thought. I thought she'd be great. Ok, she did have some little funny bits but not the kind I woulda' figged though.
Man, I don't wanna write about this at all. I just wasn't so into it. I read a review of it that morning in the paper and they said that it was better then Sarah Marshall. I think that made me sort of hate it before I ever actually saw it. Maybe not hate it but I think that it effected how I felt about the movie. Not in the way that I thought. I really was looking forward to it. I mean, THE PAPER said that it was better then Sarah Marshall so I fully expected it to be.
The paper wouldn't lie. Well, this time it did or maybe I just thought that it did. I wonder what I would have thought of the movie if I'd never read the review. Maybe I should see it again. When it's on cable. I'll return to this topic in a few years I guess.
