ABC is teaming up with a reality TV guru on a new series. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the studio has given a pilot order for Mark Burnett's new series, The Shark Tank.
The series will be based off the Japanese reality series, Dragon's Den and will focus on entrepeneurs pitching their ideas to business mavens, the "Sharks," in hopes to secure investment funding.
ABC also has another similar project in the works in American Investor, from Simon Cowell and Peter Jones. No production schedule has been announced for either series. |
